National Park Service – Servicewide Stand Down Video
As the Director, Producer, Audio Engineer, and Editor, I led the end-to-end production of a 20-minute video project for the National Park Service, centered on workplace safety and mental health awareness. The centerpiece of a service-wide “Stand Down” event, this video featured interviews with NPS Director Chuck Sams, two additional senior leaders, and storytelling contributions from NASA relating to the Challenger disaster. Designed to engage over 20,000 NPS employees across the country, the video served as a launch point for a full day of breakout sessions, learning modules, and dialogue around workplace well-being.
The project involved traveling to Washington, D.C., navigating multiple layers of federal security, and coordinating tightly scheduled interviews with executive leadership—all within a fast-paced production timeline. I managed every creative and technical element solo, including camera operation, lighting, audio capture, and post-production using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. The video was broadcast simultaneously across all NPS units, receiving overwhelming praise from employees and leadership alike. Following the success of the project, I was regularly sought out by the NPS Office of Communication for future creative work.
